The journey begins!

On August 21, 2010 it was like most Fridays, we was asleep when the call came in at 3:30am. The voice on the line said "she's in labor!" My heart skipped a beat, because that means she was three weeks early! Oh my God, we had nothing ready cause we thought we had three weeks! We sat there in bed neither of us could sleep, this didn't matter cause a 4:30am the next call came in "she been born!" Oh my GOD!!! We jumped out of bed in shock and disbelief it didn't seem real, but it was! First place we headed to was walmart and spent about a hour an 200 dollars later we left. We had no game plan at this point just knew New Orleans was where we had to be, we spent that whole day taking care of the animals and informing our places of employment we had to go. During this whole time I failed to mention to you my readers that my mom was here at my house visiting her side of the family, we left a key and asked her to lock up! It take roughly 11 hours to drive to New Orleans from Tulsa mind you we haven't sleep all that day now you tack on drive time... We was off with one mission in mind to meet our baby girl, I fail to mention that we didn't decide on her name.
